Classmates was established in 2008 prior to the band effort to perform for their teachers during teacher’s day. From there their interest and natural talent grow, where they suddenly starts to write and practice their own songs which later become favourites among their school mates, friends and their friends.
Soon after, the boys found themselves performing in local indie scene in Kota Tinggi, then Johor and the neighbouring stats such as Melaka and Seremban.Strengtening their fan base and networking among local indie music scene. The boys later move to Kuala Lumpur to further their studies in 2009 and started to get invitations to perform at local gigs in Klang Valley.
Their catchy pop punk rock songs with energetic sing-along-hooks linger on friendship, hope for peace, love and unity.
Now in the process of producing their debut EP, the boys look forward to expose their interest and talents amongts not only teenagers alike, but also to the larger public.As a new comer, They really hope they were given chance and room for them to grow in the local music scene.
